22 Minute Hard Corps Review – Does it Work?
22 Minute Hard Corps is an intense bootcamp style workout, designed to whip you into shape in only 22 minutes a day! (For more info on the workouts and nutrition go here!)I have now completed the 8 weeks of the program AND I just finished up the 22 Minute Hard Corps Hell Week Challenge! It was TOUGH! It consisted of two 22 minute workouts each day (alternating cardio and resistance days), with an ab workout on the cardio days as well! I hadn’t done the cardio or resistance 1 workouts in a while, and dare I say, they seemed…easy? Ok not easy but I definitely say improvement in my cardiovascular endurance and strength! I must say…I am beat!! The double workouts really wore me out but I proved to myself I could do it!
This program, like any, is a mind over matter deal. Believing you can do gets you half way there and then you just have to push yourself! I honestly can’t believe how FAST these past 8 weeks went by. I really enjoyed this program and how quick it was, yet I still know I got a killer workout in because I am always drenched in sweat! If certain moves stick out to me in these workouts it would be the burpees (regular, frog, spin), push ups, and the gorilla crawls! You won’t know how bad a gorilla crawl hurts until you do them! You just have to take it one step at a time!! It was the perfect mixture of cardio and strength and the sandbag gave for a fun and new way to workout! This program is especially good when you are SHORT ON TIME! I see myself doing the full program again in the future, but will insert the workouts for now on those days when I need quick workout (aka when I hit snooze too many times).
I LOVE my challenge group this month!! These ladies are super motivated and are keeping me motivated! It’s so nice to always be surrounded by others who are supporting each other and cheering each other on! We check in daily and rate how our nutrition and workout went and share our shakeology recipe! We are always swapping recipes, tips, and picking each other up when we are down.
I made so yummy blender blueberry oat muffins this past week and worked them into my meal plan! I tend to eat the same things but I do get bored occasionally and enjoy a nice change up. These were super simply, healthy, and delicious! I highly recommend them. The recipe is here!
