I’m well in to to Week 4 of Core De Force, but before I give my FINAL review and results, I wanted to do a Core De Force Review of Weeks 2 and 3.
What I like about Week 2 is there starts to be some specialized additional core workouts (Core Kinetics) a few days a week, and it also introduces some new workouts like Power Sculpt (this one brings the sweat!) and MMA Power.
Week 3 adds in More core work, with an additional specialized core workout (don’t worry, only 5 minutes!) five times a week! BUT what I liked most about these weeks is you EAT MORE FOOD then in week 1!
As you progress and your body gets stronger you need to fuel it right, which does mean you need more food. I could tell I was hungrier in weeks 2 and 3 as the workouts upped the intensity and some of them upped in length as well. So in week 2 you add in an extra purple (fruit) and in week three you keep that extra fruit and add in an extra blue (healthy fat). I especially liked this for at night when I just wanted something to much on, I’d grab some almonds and it did the trick!
Here is my week 2 meal plan. Most days, I added in an apple or berries with lunch or a snack!
Here’s a sneak peak of Power Sculpt. It is introduced in Week 2 and switches up the typical 3 minute round with 3 moves in a round. The first for 1 minute, the second for 45 seconds, and the third for 35 seconds. You guessed it! The moves burn more as you go!
Now onto Week 3!! I tried out some new recipes this week like spaghetti squash (OMG yum!) and poached eggs with kale, onion, pepper, and feta!! Both were so yummy!
This is the Spaghetti Squash! I paired it with some roasted veggies (talk about getting your veggies in, this is the perfect way!) The spaghetti squash looks and tastes like spaghetti! I added some all natural tomato sauce to it and voila!
I have to say, I think my favorite workout of the program is MMA Plyo! It is introduced in Week 3 and is intense!! It pulls together fun combos of moves you already know so you really feel like you are in the fight!
Overall, I am LOVING this program! I can tell that every move engages the core and I haven’t taken my 30 day measurements yet but my core definitely feels stronger and I can see the abs trying to poke through! I also love that these workouts seem to fly by with the combos because they are fun! It’s like remembering a dance- except you aren’t dancing, you are fighting! Which makes you feel like a BADA$$!
My week 3 meal plan is below. NO I don’t end up following my meal plans exactly but I like having it there to follow! I try to make sure I get the right amount of each container each day, but we all slip up and that’s ok! Below adds the extra fruit and healthy fat for week 3!
