I am heading into Week 3 of my Elimination Test group and feeling amazing! I have been following a Whole 30/21 Day Fix mix approach for my Elimination Plan. So I have eliminated added sugar, processed food, grains, beans, dairy, and alcohol. There wasn’t a set ‘plan’ for the group other than to challenge ourselves with what would make us feel accomplished. I decided to take this approach to tighten up my nutrition. As I love the 80/20 lifestyle but know I had been more lenient that usual. So I wanted to go all in! There have been some roadblocks and we have been BUSY, so I’ve been going out a lot but sticking to water/soda water. I love a glass (or two) or wine as much as the next girl but actually sticking to this plan and showing myself I don’t need it has been a great accomplishment!
How Have I Been Feeling?
Sure, it’s hard to make the better choice.
To get up and workout when you’d rather stay in the warm bed, and avoid the sweets and treats (when yea they are yummy!)
It’s hardstay focused on your goals when life is pulling you in a million directions.
BUT IT IS SO WORTH IT.
To reach the goals that were once so far.
The mental clarity it gives me when processed foods aren’t fogging my brain.
The confidence and actually feeling good in your own skin!
To feel energized and alive!
NO it’s not about being perfect and 😊 enjoying life is super important too, but it’s about doing what makes you happy and healthy!
I’ve found my clarity, my energy, my confidence. If I can do it you can do it too! My update going into week 3 is I’m down 3 lbs, 1/2 inch off both my waist and hips, but more than that I am feeling amazing!! The head fog is gone, the constant tiredness is gone.
Week 3 Meal Plan
For the first two weeks I was doing the sneak peak of a new program coming out called 80 Day Obsession. Now I am going to head into the 21 Day Fix Extreme as it’s challenging and focuses on toning. My Week 3 meal plan is below. It’s Thanksgiving week! But that doesn’t mean I am throwing the week away for 1 day or aka 1 meal.
The whole point of this group is to FEEL good for ourselves. So no, I am not going to be super strict for the actual Thanksgiving meal. I am going to eat healthy that day before dinner, not starve myself and save my starchy carbs for dinner!
I also did my 3 Day Meal Prep! Meal prepping has done wonders for saving me time during the week. I want to make sure I am 100% on it Monday-Wednesday because I do want to keep it balanced!
I love the almond butter sweet potato snack and my frittata salad!! They are both so simple and don’t take long to cook!
I am excited to head into week 3 strong! I will be sharing everything I learn in this Elimination group with my Holiday Survival Guide Group participants! We kick off the 27th and I’m so excited to get started! There’s only a couple spots left, so reach out if you would like info.
