I had always been active but never truly been in good shape or ate nutritiously. I am a vegetarian, so I would load up on carbs to replace the protein I was not getting, and spend time in the gym only focusing on cardio and never on strength training. I saw an infomercial for T25 and ordered it. I committed to following the nutrition plan, shakeology, and workouts for 60 days. The nutrition plan taught me how to balance protein, carbs, fats, fruits, and veggies, while the workouts showed me how to work every muscle in my body. I lost about 10 pounds while toning up. Even after just one week of eating clean, I couldn’t believe how much better I felt, how much more energy I had, and how excited I was about the day! Then I was introduced to something that made healthy living much eaiser- challenge groups!! I found a group of like minded people who were all aiming to live healthy and balanced lives. We shared ideas, swapped recipes, and kept each other motivated!!
From there, I continued to try different programs and I have been living a clean, 80/20 lifestyle ever since!
I am excited to continue on my journey to a healthier and better life!
Taking control of your nutrition and diet will help you reach any goal you set your mind to. Since I started taking care of myself, I have not only felt better in general but have more energy and look forward to my healthy diet and daily workouts. I feel better because I am doing something for myself.
