I am into month 2 of Insanity Max 30, and am already heading into week 2! These months are just flying by. I like coming back it this program because it is a cardio and endurance challenge. You literally go until you ‘max out’, record your time and try to push yourself further the next time.
The Insanity Max 30 meal plan is simple and we all know nutrition is 80% of the results you see, so you can’t ignore it!! I am on plan A which means I eat 3 veggie servings, 4 protein, 2 carbs, 2 fruit, 2 tsp, 1 healthy fat in the form of nuts, avocados hummus, etc and 1 healthy fat in the form of seeds, dressings, etc. If you would like to learn more about Insanity Max 30 in general please go here.
Insanity Max 30 Meal Plan
Below is my meal plan for the week! I am excited for some TACOS!
It is A LOT of food, which is a good thing because I like to eat! I do not feel hungry with these plans because they are designed to be lifestyle change that you can literally stick to for life versus a crash diet. I made stuffed pepper for myself and Eric last week for dinners and they were delicious!! Chicken, corn, brown rice, onion, garlic, and cheese for Eric and tofu, black beans, brown rice, broccoli, onion, and garlic for me! Both were tossed in a natural tomato sauce with spices! Here is the stuffed pepper recipe.
Insanity Max 30 Workouts
As for the workouts, since I’m in month 2 they have gotten harder. Each of the cardio workouts adds a 1 minute bonus move at the end of each set. It is intense! Below is the schedule. It alternates between a cardio workout and a tabatta style strength workout.
It has 2 rest days. I usually rest on one of them and do some sort of active recovery like PiYo on the other because eI have found I am very sore with this program.
I am loving the accountability my challenge group is giving me, as this is a challenging program and it is not always easy to press play! Here is some awesome feed back on what challengers have said about challenge groups.
