Happy 4th of July! As we are all celebrating and having a good time- it calls for some festive recipes! This red, white, and blue vanilla smoothie bowl recipe is amazing and tastes like you are eating ice cream- except none of the bad stuff, just superfoods, vitamins, minerals, and a whole lot of festive looks! 🙂
This is really filling and is the perfect snack or breakfast anytime. Raspberries, blueberries, unsweetened cocnut, and sliver almonds really pack a nice flavor punch to this recipe!
Vanilla Smoothie Bowl
1 scoop Vanilla Shakeology
3/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
1/4 frozen banana
1/2 tsp honey
1 cup of ice
1/4 cup blueberries
1/4 cup raspberries
1 tsp unsweetened coconut
1 Tbsp slivered almonds
- Place shakeology, almond milk, banana, honey, and ice in a blender and blend until smooth. It should be a thick ice cream like texture (if not add more ice).
- Pour mixture into a bowl and top with blueberries, raspberries, coconut, and almonds.
